SKAD Architects, Sten Ader: “The building is a carpet house, or a small residential building with 5 apartments with one common entrance. Each apartment is an architecturally distinct volume of a penthouse building, visually rather juxtaposed with the private houses, creating a link between the apartment buildings on the one hand and the small residential area on the other.”
Sfäär Planeeringud, Üla Koppel and Kerttu Kõll: “Kuldlehe has balconies on all sides, with privacy provided by a natural horse chestnut grove. The landscaping uses materials that harmonise with the greenery, both in the construction of the paths and the courts, which, together with the footpath and the circular area open to the sun and the warm outdoor lighting, create the feeling of a cosy home park.”
